Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the practice of using someone else’s work, ideas, or intellectual property without proper attribution or permission. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text, data, or images without citation or acknowledgement.

  • Paraphrasing another author's work without appropriate citation.

  • Submitting someone else's research, findings, or ideas as one’s own.

  • Self-plagiarism, where an author reuses their own previously published work without proper reference or citation.

Prevention and Detection

To prevent plagiarism, this journal employs various tools and methods to detect plagiarism in submitted manuscripts. All submitted articles are checked for plagiarism using advanced plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin or iThenticate, prior to the peer review process.

Action on Plagiarism

If plagiarism is identified, the following actions will be taken:

  • Initial Investigation: The editorial team will review the extent of the plagiarism and discuss it with the authors.

  • Rejection or Withdrawal: Articles found to contain plagiarism will be immediately rejected or withdrawn from publication, and authors will be notified of the reasons.

  • Reporting to Institutions: In cases of severe plagiarism, the author(s) may be reported to their academic or institutional authorities for further action.

  • Blacklist: Repeated offenders or cases of intentional and significant plagiarism may result in the author being banned from submitting future articles to the journal.

Author Responsibility

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their work is original and properly cited. When submitting articles to this journal, authors are required to affirm that the manuscript is free of plagiarism and that all sources of information are appropriately cited.

Transparency and Ethical Publication

We are committed to transparent and ethical publishing practices. Authors, reviewers, and editors must adhere to the highest standards of integrity, and we expect all parties involved in the editorial and review process to maintain the confidentiality and credibility of the work being evaluated.
